SUMMARY:Bible Class
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nWhat is a Bible Class?\nA Bible Class is an opportunity for people to come together to explore the Bible\, deepen their understanding of the Christian faith\, and discover how its teaching speaks to our lives today. \nUnlike a formal church service\, a Bible Class is usually relaxed and conversational. There is time to read a passage of Scripture\, learn about its meaning and background\, ask questions\, share thoughts and listen to the experiences of others. You do not need to be a Bible expert\, and there is no such thing as a foolish question. \nWhether you have been a Christian for many years\, are returning to church\, or are simply curious about faith\, a Bible Class offers a friendly and welcoming place to learn\, reflect and grow together. \nAll are welcome

SUMMARY:Harvest Thanksgiving and Parish Gift Day
DESCRIPTION:Harvest Thanksgiving & Parish Gift Day \n\nHarvest Thanksgiving is a special opportunity for us to come together as a church family and give thanks to God for all that we have received: for the food we enjoy\, for the beauty of creation\, for our homes and families\, and for the many gifts and blessings of everyday life. \nThis year\, our Harvest Thanksgiving will also be our Parish Gift Day\, giving us an opportunity not only to say thank you\, but also to put our thanksgiving into action. \nSharing our Harvest\nAs part of our Harvest celebration\, we invite everyone to bring non-perishable food items to church. These gifts will form part of our Harvest offering and are a practical way of sharing what we have with others. \nTins\, packets\, jars and other long-life food items would all be very gratefully received. Please bring your donations with you to the Harvest Thanksgiving Service and place them with the other Harvest gifts. \nSupporting our Parish\nParish Gift Day is also an invitation to give something extra towards the continuing life and ministry of our church. \nOur church is here throughout the year: for worship and prayer\, for baptisms\, weddings and funerals\, for times of celebration and sadness\, and as a place of welcome and belonging within our community. Maintaining that ministry\, caring for our church and meeting our everyday costs all depend upon the generosity of those who value its presence. \nIf you are able\, we warmly invite you to bring a special financial gift on Parish Gift Day. Every gift\, whatever its size\, will be received with gratitude and will help support the continuing work and ministry of our parish. \nCome and Give Thanks\nWhether you bring a bag of food\, make a financial gift\, bring both\, or simply come to worship with us\, you are very welcome. \nTogether\, let us celebrate the Harvest\, give thanks for God’s goodness\, share with those in need\, and help ensure that our church continues to be a place of faith\, welcome\, worship and service for our community. \nPlease join us for Harvest Thanksgiving & Parish Gift Day. \nGive thanks. Share what you have. Support your parish.
